Last night, the 35th Hong Kong Film Awards was held at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre in Tsim Sha Tsui.

Nominated for the 5th time at the Hong Kong Film Awards, Aaron Kwok finally won the Best Actor! The two hot favourites for the Best Actor award were Aaron and Jacky Cheung. Jacky has missed the award for the 6th time.

Aaron was surprised by his win and said, “I would like to thank the other nominees. Everyone is outstanding! This is my 5th time nominating in this award. I thought that I should work harder. This is an encouraging night! God has given me many opportunities, and I only hope to be the best of myself. I once wished to get this award when I was 40, but there are so many experience in life. I dare not say how many peaks I have created, as I only wish to be an outstanding Hong Kong actor. Aaron Kwok comes from Hong Kong! Thank you!”

Aaron’s girlfriend, Moka Fang also congratulated him on her Weibo. She said, “I have nervous heartbeat even till now! Yes! I am so happy.”

The best actress goes to 23-year-old Chinese actress who is Aaron’s co-star in Port of Call <踏血尋梅>. The best actress announcement came as a surprise as Jessie beat hot favourites Miriam Yeung and Karena Lam.
