Tabloids claimed that Annie Yi was dating her manager lately.
Annie was spotted dining with a young good-looking man a few days ago. The pair reportedly behaved intimately and the 44-year-old actress-singer was photographed holding the arms of the man.
When the rumours first surfaced, Annie clarified on her Weibo, “Big news! My crippled prince charming finally appears? I then realise that he is my manager, Hong Minghui.”
Despite her clarification, the tabloids continued to run stories on her rumours with manager.
This prompted an angry Annie to blast the tabloids on her Weibo again, “To all the reporters friends who deliberately distorted the news: The source of the report has stated that Mr Hong Minghui is my manager and not my rumoured boyfriend. However, there are still many tabloids which intentionally mislead the readers.”
“The truth is the truth. Do not distort the reports just because it is for the sake of entertainment. This will only lose your credibility.”
