Barbie Hsu and Dee Hsu’s father passed away

Barbie Hsu (徐熙媛) and Dee Hsu’s (徐熙娣) father passed away yesterday at Tri-Service General Hospital in Taiwan. Mr Hsu battled with liver cancer and had sought treatment at the hospital before his demise.

The sisters reportedly stopped their work temporarily when their father’s condition aggravated in the recent month. Barbie and Dee visited their father everyday and were by his side when he passed away yesterday afternoon.

After the parents divorced, Barbie and Dee had been living with their mother. However, both sisters kept in contact with their father and their relationship was still very close. Barbie and Dee would give allowance to their father monthly. Mr Hsu also attended the family gathering and was seen managing the media during the daughters’ wedding.

Last month, Barbie wrote on her Weibo, indicating her father’s illness, “Recently, daddy is not in good health. We three sisters have been trying to coax him into eating and making him happy. Hope that daddy can fight the illness in a spirited mood. Daddy, we love you!”
