Although Blue Lan was rumoured with his godsister recently, the heartthrob actor maintains that he is still single.
Blue was in China to promote his latest movie, Forever Love <阿嬤的夢中情人>. At the publicity event, Blue was once again asked about his former girlfriend, Barbie Hsu. Instead of showing a black face to the reporter, as what some Taiwanese media claimed if he was asked about Barbie, Blue, however replied calmly.
“It is weird that everyone talks about her during the Yuanxiao festival,” said Blue.
Since breaking up with Barbie in 2006, Blue’s love life has been empty.
Asked if he would accept a older woman as his girlfriend again, Blue said, “I can still accept a older woman, younger man relationship. The age is not important. What’s important is whether she is mature and able to understand me. We should share the same perspectives, be thoughtful and tolerant of each other.”
Unlike his younger days, Blue admitted that he had matured and his temper was better than before.
“After 30, I realise that I was childish during my younger days. I flared up easily before. I am more tolerant now. If I have any conflicts with anyone now, I will change my perspective and ask if the other party has any difficulty. I will also try to accomodate to the other party.”
