Are wedding bells ringing for Chang Chen?
The 36-year-old Taiwanese actor reportedly proposed to his girlfriend, Ann Zhang with a diamond ring on 4 January 2013. The date 201314 also symbolises “I love you forever” in Chinese. A friend of Ann revealed that Chang Cheng had also purchased their love nest in the Mucha district in Taipei.
Ann recently posted a loving message “201314” on her Facebook. She also inserted two heart-shapes behind her message. It seems that Ann cannot contain the happiness and many friends sent in their congratulations to the couple.
Chang Chen and his former assistant, Ann are in a stable relationship for three years. Chang Cheng reportedly had plans to marry his girlfriend earlier, but his wedding plan was delayed by the filming of The Grandmaster <一代宗师>. After the movie was released recently, Chang Chen finally returned to Taiwan to propose to his girlfriend.
However, his father, Chang Kuo Chu is kept in the dark and was surprised upon hearing his son’s proposal. He later expressed, “As the couple has been together for many years, it is only natural to progress to this stage”.
Chang Chen was romantically linked with a string of actresses before Ann. He was in a 6-year relationship with Jozie Lu and was rumoured with movie star, Shu Qi.
