According to media report, Chilam Cheung and Charmaine Sheh will collaborate again in the movie version of Return of the Cuckoo <十月初五的月光>.

When this drama was aired in 2002, it received rave reviews and excellent ratings. Both Chilam and Charmaine’s popularity shot up and the duo also won the “Favourite On-screen Partners” at the 2002 TVB Anniversary Awards.

Chilam and Charmaine also went on to collaborate in another movie, Perfect Match <跑馬地的月光>, and were romantically rumoured together. Hearing about the rumours, Anita Yuen often visited the filmset back then to keep tabs on Chilam.

Although now that both Chilam and Anita are married and have a 7-year-old son, Anita would still get wary whenever she hears Charmaine’s name. Although she did not object to their collaboration, she made it clear that she would prefer to be on the filmset as well.

To assure his wife, Chilam reportedly asked to change the film schedule.

He was originally scheduled to film Pretty Woman <風月俏佳人> with Chrissie Chau after he finished the shooting of Triumph in the Skies <衝上雲霄> movie version. Return of the Cuckoo would only begin filming next year.

However, Chilam spoke to the production company to bring forward the filming of Return of the Cuckoo. He cited reason that he did not wish to clash his filming schedule with Anita, so that either one of them could look after their son.

Chrissie’s agency also confirmed that they were informed of a change in filming schedule due to a clash of Chilam’s schedule.
