While promoting for upcoming album Love or Not Love, Cyndi Wang’s (王心凌) new ballad Becoming Strangers have made others linked her relationship to former boyfriend, Yao Yuan Hao (姚元浩).
In May this year, Cyndi was embroiled in a love triangle between Yuan Hao and his 8-year girlfriend Sonia Sui (隋棠). After Sonia announced her separation with Yuan Hao and hinted of a third party intervention, Cyndi was implicated into the picture.
The singer was spotted dating Yuan Hao on several occasions and even parked her car at his place. Through a press conference in May, Cyndi explained tearfully that she did not come between the couple’s relationship. She admitted dating Yuan Hao briefly after the couple broke up. The short-lived relationship ended when Yuan Hao and Sonia got back together a few months later and Cyndi chose to depart from the complicated relationship.
Cyndi will not take back Yuan Hao
Facing the public accusations, Cyndi hid at home and nursed her wound for a long while. “I am not that kind of person. Why did everyone say so?” said Cyndi of her scandalous reports.
Cyndi also mentioned that the Yuan Hao she known previously was simple and stable but he got complicated after the incident.
Cyndi also said that she would choose to leave the relationship if her future romance was intervened by a third party. Stating her reason, Cyndi said, “Because the man’s heart is no longer there!”
Asked if she would get back with Yuan Hao if he pursued her again, Cyndi replied firmly, “I have never thought of that.”
