Taiwanese singer-songwriter David Tao and his heiress girlfriend, Penny reportedly held an intimate wedding party at an island in Philippines.
The wedding party was said to be a low-key affair and only a few friends and relatives were invited to the secret celebration. The couple will also have their wedding shoots at Philippines, which they plan to show the photos and video at their wedding banquet in Taipei on 31 August 2014.
Asked on the secret wedding party, David’s manager first responded, “No such thing!”
When asked why David’s wedding was so secretive, his manager said, “The preparations are still ongoing. There are no photos and invitation cards are not printed yet. We will announce the good news when it’s finalised.”
Responding if David was in Philippines to shoot his wedding photos, his manager did not deny and said, “I am only there for work.”
When the reporter visited the hardware shop owned by Penny’s family to confirm on the wedding party, they tried to deny their identities, and only Penny’s brother responded.
He said, “I don’t know. I only know it’s in overseas.”
