During his August concert, Ekin Cheng (鄭伊健) finally announced news of his wedding with Yoyo Mung (蒙嘉慧) next year. Yoyo had earlier revealed that they would have a low-profile wedding, doing away with wedding gowns, banquet and wedding albums.
According to Oriental Sunday, Ekin’s announcement was only meant as a smokescreen. The couple had long ago fixed their wedding on 12 December 2012. Despite Yoyo’s statement that their wedding would be simple, the tabloids revealed that it was not so.
The couple was sighted trying out their wedding gowns and tuxedo along with Ekin’s “Young and dangerous” brothers, Michael Tse (謝天華) and Jerry Lamb (林曉峰). It is believed that Michael and Jerry will be Ekin’s groomsmen on the big day.
Ekin and Yoyo reportedly plan to hold a 50-table banquet at Ritz Carlton. The couple was sighted with Ekin’s mother to the hotel for wedding discussion and food testing of the banquet menu. They also headed to a shopping mall, likely to view wedding costumes and accessories.
