In an interview yesterday, Yoga Lin clarified that his relationship with G.E.M. Tang had ended for some time and there was no third party involved. Although he declined to reveal the cause of their breakup, he stressed that they were still friends.
When being told that Yoga had admitted to the breakup, G.E.M.’s manager Tan said that G.E.M.’s feelings were affected because of this relationship.
Tan said, “G.E.M. has always been passive. You have to ask Yoga. He is the initiator. (So, G.E.M. is the victim?) Of course!”
Tan revealed that G.E.M. had been crying after the breakup. Criticising Yoga as an irresponsible man, Tan said, “Relationship is part and parcel of life. There is no guarantee. If two persons are compatible, they will get together. If not, just break up. Both should bear responsibility, and should not be sneaking away without any explanation.”
G.E.M.’s good friend, Renee Lee also blamed Yoga for the breakup. She said, “I know what happened between them. I witnessed their ups and downs, but I don’t understand why the guy eventually turned out this way. Just because G.E.M. is busy, it doesn’t give him the right to do something like that!”
Asked if there was a third party, Renne replied, “I don’t know. I only know G.E.M. is very devoted to love. She puts in so much feelings on him all these years, but it is all ruined by other party.”
