Chinese actress, Huang Yi was recently accused of having a secret tryst with a wealthy businessman in Hong Kong. Since then, her marriage has gone extremely sour!
Her husband, Huang Yiqing was outraged by her infidelity scandal and even took on the Weibo to scold her, saying, “Heaven will punish you!”
Two days ago, Huang Yi issued a lawyer’s letter to Yiqing to officially file for a divorce, and fight for her daughter’s custody. Huang Yi’s management agency also released a public statement, clarifying that the Chinese actress was just discussing an upcoming film project at the hotel. Her agency further claimed that Huang Yi had suffered from physical abuse from her husband, producing her injuries’ medical report and photos of her injured face.
The statement also said that it was Yiqing who had several extramarital affairs and even wrote an apology letter to Huang Yi after the physical abuse took place.
The drama continues to unfold when yesterday, Yiqing produced two quarreling videos of the couple. In one video, Huang Yi was heard shouting on a phone, “Ask the reporter to come now! He is hitting me!”
Yiqing questioned her repeatedly in the video, “Did I ever hit you? Did I?”
In another video, Huang Yi was seen emotionally unstable, running into a room to snatch their child. A relative persuaded her, “She is only a child. Do not involve her. Do not hurt the child. He said you took a helmet to hit him.”
Huang Yi shouted back, “Why is he doing this to me?”
Yiqing defended himself with the videos, and denied hitting his wife. He wrote on the Weibo, “Look at this weakling’s reaction. She is throwing temper at home and gaining sympathy outside. Instead, she was the one assaulting me and I did not even retaliate. The evidence will be slowly released.”
Besides denying that he wrote any apology letter to Huang Yi, Yiqing also suggested that her sunken forehead injury was created herself by pressing her face after a hyaluronic acid injection.
Huang Yi’s friend has defended her, “Huang Yi was beaten up on 13 May last year, and she went to a doctor the next day. She was still breastfeeding and refused to appear in public due to her weight gain. Why would she need to go for a hyaluronic acid injection?”
Meanwhile, some netizens criticised Yiqing for installing a surveillance camera at home to film his wife secretly. Although in the videos, he was not seen hitting Huang Yi, netizens questioned if he had edited the clips.
