42-year-old Michelle Reis (李嘉欣) was rumoured to be carrying her second child. Currently in her fourth month pregnancy, the former Hong Kong actress reportedly conceived the baby through artificial insemination.
After marrying Hong Kong tycoon Julian Hui (许晋亨) in 2008, Michelle reportedly underwent three artificial inseminations and successfully conceived her first child. She gave birth to her son, Jayden Max Hui (JM) in February last year.
At an event this year, Michelle announced that she and her husband had come to a consensus not to have anymore children.
However, tabloids claimed that Michelle had all along underwent ‘In Vitro Maturation’ (IVM) but it was a failed attempt in October last year. In June this year, Michelle went for an operation to remove the benign tumours in her intestines.
She reportedly rested for a month before trying for another artificial insemination and was said to be successfully conceived.
Recently, Michelle reportedly have cut down on attending various functions and is recuperating at home. Michelle’s mother-in-law reportedly have also been asking their maid to brew tonic soups for Michelle and urged her to return home for dinner more often.
