Janet Chow and Timmy Hung become proud parents of a 7 pounds 6 oz baby boy!

This morning, Timmy Hung, Timmy’s mother and Janet’s mother accompanied the expectant Janet to the  St. Teresa’s Hospital for her Caesarean section. At around 3.15 pm, Timmy shared the good news and said that the baby was very healthy.

Becoming a father for the first time, Timmy could not control his tears when seeing his baby at the first glance. “When I saw the baby the first time, my tears just flowed out but I managed to hold the tears. I do not wish to cry at the happy moment. It’s like a miracle”.

Timmy added, “When I heard the baby cry for the first time, I was very touched at that moment!”

The pregnancy ultrasound scan showed that the baby was pretty big size and Kevin Cheng even joked with Timmy, “Be careful that he turns out to be a black boy”. However, Timmy is very relieve now that the baby’s complexion is very fair.

Asked if he cut the umbilical cord during childbirth, Timmy replied, “No, they did not allow me to cut. Only the doctor can do it”.

Timmy also said that the baby looked like his grandfather, Sammo Hung. “Maybe the baby still has a slight edema, so he looks like my father. Maybe after he has shed the swelling, he may look like me. I think it’s better if he looks like my wife. After all, she is a pretty woman”.

Grandparents, Sammo and his wife arrived at the hospital in the evening. The joyous Sammo even expressed that he was so happy that he could not stop his saliva from drooling!

Asked if the family would use his suggested baby name, Hung Dai Yan (洪大仁), Sammo exclaimed, “I should call him Dai Ye (Big master) instead! We are still considering. I have my suggested name and Timmy has his suggested name too. We, father and son will fight it out first! Whoever win, will use his name”.
