Jay Chou and Hannah Quinlivan had a fairytale wedding at Selby Abbey church at North Yorkshire, England on 17 January 2015. This was a day ahead of Jay’s 36th birthday.

Jay’s agency, JVR Music released a two-minute video for fans to catch a glimpse of the moving moment of his big day.

In the video, the groomsmen Drifters singer Darren and fitness coach Hulk, and bridesmaids, Beatrice Fang and Fion Sun first walked down the red carpet.

Subsequently, Hannah was accompanied down the aisle by her father, who passed her hand to Jay. When Jay lifted his bride’s veil, Hannah was moved to tears.

What is most special is that Jay composed a march in song specifically for his wedding, which was played by a string orchestra at the wedding.

Hannah’s gown was designed by an European designer, and the tudor-inspired gown with a heart-shaped design on the back was Hannah’s idea. Jay’s tuxedo was designed by Alexander McQueen, and he looked like a prince next to his lovely bride.

The wedding was followed by a party at Castle Howard, which was said to be like a concert with a mixture of symphony and a rock band.

Jay’s luxurious wedding was estimated to cost NT$23 million and this is by far the most expensive wedding in the Taiwanese entertainment circle. Jay declined any sponsorship for his wedding. He also paid for all accommodation and travelling expenses for his 50 guests.

After the wedding, Hannah also left a message on her Instagram, “Thank you everyone for your blessings. The wedding was held a day earlier, and we have already completed the wedding ceremony.”
