Yesterday, Jay Chou was in in high spirits when he appeared at the press conference for his new album, Aiyo, Not bad <哎呦，不錯哦>.
Recently, he confirmed his wedding date on his 36th birthday, 18 January 2015. At the press conference, Jay revealed that he had already proposed to his girlfriend, Hannah Quinlivan.
Earlier, netizens said that Jay had proposed to Hannah at the Hyde Park Winter Wonderland in England. Jay admitted that the proposal was in England but denied that it was at the Hyde Park.
Jay said, “I was chased by fans that day, and in the end, I took some photos with them. I didn’t expect them to post the photos. They thought that I had proposed there. There were so many people there. How could it be possible?”
Jay revealed that he had proposed on one bent knee, and under the fireworks. Asked if Hannah was touched to tears, Jay said, “Any sentimental person would cry.”
Jay was baptised as a Christian two years ago, and Hannah once revealed that she would preserve her chastity till her wedding day. When asked to comment on Hannah’s statement, Jay said, “That’s right. We have to learn from Will Liu.” Due to religion, Will abstained from sex for four years.
Jay shared that he like kids, and would like to have 5 kids to form a band.
