Jay Chou’s chainsticks confiscated by Australian customs

0413-00282-008b1While arriving for his World Tour concert in Sydney last week, Jay Chou’s 28 sets of chainsticks were suspected to be weapons and confiscated by the Australian customs.

Jay and his entourage were also interrogated by the authorities at the airport.

Jay’s chainsticks are his stage props during his performance for his hit track, Nunchaku <雙截棍>. and his mood was affected after the incident.

After his props were confiscated, Jay immediately sought the organiser and his local fans for help to purchase the chainsticks.

Luckily, the new sets of chainsticks were bought just in time before the show, and resulted in a smooth performance on that day.
