Taiwanese pop diva, Jolin Tsai is set to return to the stage of Golden Melody Awards in grand fashion. Jolin will showcase her singing power and dancing moves at this Saturday’s awards ceremony at The Taipei Arena.
Jolin initially only agreed to be a guest presenter, but was persuaded by the organisers to be their star performer. As she is busy recording for her new album, she manages to squeeze in some time to rehearse for the show.
Jolin will be performing a series of her popular dance tracks and showcasing her diversity of dancing styles. The 33-year-old will lead 72 dancers on stage and present her transformations throughout her 15 years of singing career.
“I will do my best to present a first-class performance just like my concert. Hope that I can give the audience a big surprise,” said Jolin.
Last year, Jolin fused in a magic show when she performed her hit track, The Grand Artist <大藝術家>. This year, there will be different stage backdrops for different songs.
“There are so many dance tracks. The organisers have put in a lot of efforts on the stage designs,” said Jolin.
