After Leon Lai (黎明) and Gaile Lok (樂基兒) announced the end of their marriage, there have been continuous speculations on their separation. Recently, Hong Kong tabloids claimed that TVB actress, Kate Tsui (徐子珊) had reconciled with the heavenly king and might be the cause of the couple’s separation.
Kate and Leon rekindled romance?
Kate was romantically rumoured with Leon in her early days of showbiz. After winning the Miss Hong Kong title, Leon specifically handpicked Kate to be the endorser for an advertisement and gave her many opportunities to help boast her career.
There were rumours that Leon and Kate had rekindled their romance after bumping into each other at a mall’s opening ceremony in January this year. It was also this period that Leon and Gaile’s marriage was on rocks.
Sources disclosed that while Gaile tried to mend their relationship, Leon allegedly gave his wife the cold shoulder that she moved out of the house.
After separating with his wife, Leon reportedly reconciled with ex-lover, Kate. Coincidentally, Kate also had broken off with her eye specialist boyfriend.
The tabloids also claimed that both Leon and Kate appeared at Shanghai together last week.
Kate denies reconciliation with Leon
Kate dismissed the reconciliation rumours with Leon and said that she had not met up with him for many years after collaborating on an advertisement.
“I felt so helpless. I do not understand why there are such ridiculous reports. It is not the truth,” said Kate.
Kate also spoke on the published photo in which she and Leon were pictured together.
“The photo is digitally pieced together. All these are fabricated news. I will have to wait till I return to Hong Kong to find out what’s going on,” said Kate who was in Malaysia attending a promotional event.
