Hong Kong model, Kathy Chow gave birth to her first baby boy, Jacques on 3 July 2015.
Recently, the happy mum also shared her baby’s cute photos and a family portrait on her Weibo. She wrote, “Sharing with everyone our joy: Little Jacques has arrived into our family.”
Kathy also disclosed that she had given Jacques a Chinese name Lui Kai Yu (雷棨宇).
Kathy is still adapting to be a mum, and she is gradually learning the ropes.
“The labour process didn’t seem to be too difficult. Initially, I was worried of the pain, but the process was very smooth. I didn’t feel painful. Luckily, there is a confinement nanny taking care of the baby 24 hours. The baby will only cry when it’s before the feeding time. He spends most of his time sleeping,” said Kathy.
Kathy said that she is still learning to bath the baby and to change his diapers, but her husband is already enjoying feeding and changing the baby’s diapers.
Besides her husband, Kathy’s sister Niki Chow is also constantly asking for Jacques, and requests Kathy to send her his photos when she is not in Hong Kong.
