Makiyo’s mum was originally scheduled to undergo a surgery yesterday to remove a brain tumour, but it was cancelled as it might be too risky for the 63-year-old.
Makiyo’s mum suffers from a fourth stage of lung cancer and her illness started to change for the better after undergoing treatment. Unfortunately, she had a fall at her home a few days ago, while trying to sit as she could not gauge the distance of the chair.
Makiyo immediately rushed her mum to a hospital and after a check, she was told that her mum had a 4 cm tumour in her brain.
The elder was supposed to undergo an emergency surgery yesterday, but after a doctors’ evaluation meeting, Makiyo’s mum was advised to postpone the surgery.
“My mum has undergone chemotherapy for 4 months, and we are worried that her body may not be able to take it. We will monitor mum’s condition first before any surgery,” said Makiyo.
