Marco Ngai on wife’s cheating rumours: “I also have many women around me”

47-year-old Marco Ngai’s marriage was said to be on the rocks after his 27-year-old wife, Zhang Lihua was rumoured to be dating ex-Hong Kong cycling champion, Deng Hongye. 

After the rumours surfaced, Marco denied that he had marital problems. Although he does not know Deng Hongye personally, he has trust in his wife.

Marco said, “Although I am reaching 50 soon, I am also very cool. I often have many women surrounding me. However, I am an adult and have a daughter, so I am not that playful anymore. When I quarrel with my wife now, I always give in to her.”

Meanwhile, Lihua also stressed that she is only friends with Hongye and she did inform Marco before going out with him.

Stressing that their marriage was fine, Lihua said, “Every couple quarrels, but it won’t affect our relationship. We are a family after all. It won’t affect our relationship.”
