There have always been wedding rumours surrounding TVB power couple, Moses Chan (陳豪) and Aimee Chan (陳茵媺). Earlier, Moses and Aimee were rumoured to tie the knot in Australia next year but the couple had dismissed the news.

An inside source revealed that Moses had delayed his wedding plans due to his investment loss in a cafe at Malaysia.

Moses to open another cafe

Undaunted by his first business failure, the enterprising Moses reportedly plans to open another cafe in Hong Kong. He has been actively sourcing for a shopfront in Tsim Sha Tsui and Central. Moses has also been sourcing for coffee beans supplies to suit the taste of the Hong Kong consumers.

An insider said, “Moses felt that he was to blame for the failure of the Malaysian cafe as he did not involve actively in the business. This time, he will involve in the whole business process from the purchasing to coffee brewing. He is now even experimenting a new flavour to promote as his cafe’s signature coffee.”

Moses admitted his new cafe was in the midst of preparation and would open for business in 2013. However, Moses was tight lipped about his investment sum. Tabloids reported that Moses would pump in HK$5 million in his new business.

Moses also said that he would cut down his filming to invest more time in his cafe when it is opened for business.

Aimee becomes lady boss

Moses reportedly has the intention to appoint his girlfriend as his financial controller and will allocate some shares to her as well. Aimee will also assist in the publicity of the new cafe.

Asked how much shares she would be allocated, Aimee answered vaguely, “Haha. I am only good at acting and not familiar with doing business. He will handle the other aspects of the business.”

At the TVB sales presentation a few days ago, Moses was asked if he intended to let Aimee be the lady boss of his new cafe.

“No problem! She will have coffee to drink anytime,” said Moses.
