Receiving the Most Popular Male Singer at the Jade Solid Gold Awards, Raymond Lam said that besides thanking his family members, he would also like to thank “BB”. It makes one wonder who is the “baby” he was referring to?
Tabloids claimed that Raymond and Karena Ng were “partially living together”. Since working in the movie, Love is…Pyjamas <男人如衣服>, the duo has been romantically rumoured together. As Raymond often travels overseas to work, the couple allegedly communicates daily on the phone.
On Karena’s birthday in October last year, she admitted that Raymond had sent her a text message to wish her. While filming in Wuxi, Karena’s manager reportedly could not stand that she was hogging on the phone and confiscated her phone away.
Raymond was said to lavish his 19-year-old girlfriend with branded goods and jewellery. In order to meet up more “conveniently”, Raymond reportedly rented a HK$80,000 luxury apartment at MacDonnell Road in September last year. The area is located in the affluent and expensive Mid-Levels district in Hong Kong.
A resident of the building exposed that Raymond and Karena were sighted entering into the lobby before. Raymond appeared to be cautious and lowered his head with his cap whenever he was spotted.
It is also rumoured that Raymond had already arranged Karena to meet his parents.
Karena is currently filming in Wuxi. Her manager declined to respond to the rumours but admitted that Karena had moved in to Mid-Levels district.
