RUCO

According to Hong Kong tabloids, Ruco Chan is dating his co-star, Ankie Beilke from Brother’s Keeper <巨輪>.

Last Friday, the couple headed off together to a concert after the TVB lighting ceremony. The couple appeared to be cautious when the reporters took pictures of the celebrity guests. They only resumed their interaction after the lights were dimmed.

While retrieving his car at the carpark, Ruco deliberately kept a distance from Ankie and walked in front of her. However, an outgoing Ankie was spotted grabbing onto Ruco’s arms a few times. Realising that they were followed, Ruco drove in circles and eventually managed to shake off the paparazzi.

After breaking up with his ex-girlfriend, Eunis Yiu, Ruco had little rumours with his co-stars. The 36-year-old was even more cautious about being too close to his female co-stars, especially when he is being heavily groomed by TVB now. However, he reportedly was attracted to the 30-year-old Eurasian model after sharing many kissing and passionate scenes in Brother’s Keeper.

An insider said, “There are many women flocking to Ruco, but he is very careful. He will keep a distance from them as he does not want the rumours to affect his career. However, his attitude has changed towards Ankie. Besides being attentive to her, Ruco has also been praising her. Once, Ankie had zero NG while reciting her lines. After the filming, Ruco immediately applauded and this caused embarrassment to the Ankie.”

After filming a pool kissing scene, Ruco posted excitedly on his Weibo, “I was happy and lost at the same time when the pool scene ended last night.”

On his birthday, Ruco even uploaded a photo with Ankie and wrote, “Heart is for only one.”

Ankie has since denied her romance with Ruco and stressed that they were just good friends.

“We are only good friends. We just went for a supper together after the concert,” said Ankie.

Asked to comment that their relationship blossomed during a kissing scene, Ankie said, “This statement is funny. We were just immersed in our roles only.”
