Another baby scoop news! Stefanie Sun (孙燕姿) gave birth to a 3.4 kg baby boy on 30 October 2012!
Stefanie’s artiste management company, Make Music confirmed the news that the Singaporean songbird had admitted into a a hospital yesterday afternoon and delivered the baby naturally at night. Both Stefanie and her new born baby are doing well.
Two evenings ago, Stefanie’s mother tweeted excitedly, “The whole family is waiting anxiously!” Stefanie’s spokesperson also confirmed at 5 pm yesterday that Stefanie was about to give birth anytime.
Last week, Stefanie shared on Weibo a picture of her baby room and it drew guesses from fans that the gender of her baby was a boy due to the room decorations. Her doting husband, Nadim Van Der Ros had been massaging Stefanie’s swelling feet daily during her pregnancy. To prepare for a natural childbirth, Stefanie also began her walking routine daily.Pregnant close to 10 months, Stefanie was sighted with a bulging stomach, strolling at the Singapore Botanic Gardens last week. Hence, there are speculations that she is set to give birth within the next few days.
Stefanie will enter into her confinement the coming four months, and she is expected to resume her work only after her confinement. Her mother and sister reportedly will assist Stefanie during her confinement period.
