Steven has confirmed to return to his maiden TV station, TVB in May.

His first comeback drama will be a 30-episode drama, Property Protector <守業者> set in a the early republic era. He will pair up with 2012 TV Queen, Tavia Yeung. For a realistic portrayal of the era, the drama will also be filmed in Foshan and Qingyuan in China.

Two years ago, Steven requested for an early release from his contract after some disagreements on his working arrangements. After his departure, TVB Production Director, Catherine Tsang had been inviting him back to film dramas. However, Steven was filming for mainland dramas at that time and had to decline Ms Tsang’s invitation.

Yesterday, an reporter called Steven and sought his confirmation on his return.

“Let us work out the contract details first,” said Steven.

Asked if Catherine Tsang would be helping him to negotiate the contract, Steven said, “Yes! Since I left TVB two years ago, she had been asking me to return. Ms Tsang is my mentor and she will help me manage my contract.”

As he left on a bad note with TVB Artiste Management Director, Ms Virginia Lok, will Steven find it awkward to meet her again?

Steven said, “Please do not say that I left on a bad note. We are all adults. I won’t [feel embarrassed meeting her]. I am an actor. I used to sign a management contract but now I am not. I won’t bother about other matters.”
