5566 band member, Tony Sun ended his 4 years’ marriage with Taiwanese actress, Angel Han in October. The couple has cited no reason for their split, but their circle of friends still hope that they would reconcile someday.
After announcing his divorce with Angel, Tony has been hiding from the media for 2 months. He has lost 5 kg because the divorce has dealt a blow on him. He also texted his ex-manager Sun Derong, “I can’t face the public eye. Please give me some time.”
Sun Derong also revealed that the divorce was initiated by Angel.
According to Taiwanese media, Angel has hooked up with her co-star, Eric Huang and Tony was aware of their ambiguous relationship. When Angel and Eric’s rumour first surfaced, Tony was not surprised at all.
Regarding Angel and Eric’s scandal, Sun said he was not sure if Tony had known of it, but said, “Tony is pitiful. He doesn’t know how to confide to his friends.”
Friends and relatives also disclosed that Tony was driven out of house by Angel when they separated. As he still loves his wife, he rather moved out from their apartment.
Tony’s manager has dismissed the rumours and said, “Tony is living very well. The divorce was a mutual consensus. There has to be someone moving out of the house. He is also not aware of the rumours between Angel and Eric. Everyone has the right to make friends.”
Meanwhile, Angel’s manager also shot down the rumours, “The couple moved out of the house after it was sold. Angel even wanted to give half of the sale proceeds to Tony. As she has screentime with Eric during filming, it’s very common to have rumours.”
