Vanness Wu and his Singaporean wife Arissa Cheo had an exchange of angry words through their Intsagram recently.

Arissa first wrote on her Instagram: “Merry fxxkin Christmas”. When an netizen pointed out that her words reflected very badly on Vanness’ religion, Arissa then retorted, ‘What you see on the Telly is definitely not real. Don’t tell me what I know.”

Vanness immediately chided Arissa, “Control your tongue!”

The couple has also unfollowed each other on their Instagrams.

At a countdown event in Chengdu, Vanness appeared to be looking moody and refused to accept any interviews. Returning to Taiwan last night, Vanness was surrounded by reporters who grilled him on his marital woes.

When asked what caused them to quarrel, Vanness refused to reply any questions, and continued to talk on his phone. Vanness was spotted with a ring on his finger.

Vanness uploaded a photo on his Instagram of this two dogs on separate sofas. Asked if he had slept separately from his wife, and if he had considered divorce, Vanness pretended he did not hear the questions and walked off quickly.

A friend close to the couple said, “They both have blunt personalities. When they quarrel, the words are hard on the ear. They have not reached the stage of divorce yet.”

Vanness also uploaded his new year’s resolution on his Weibo:”AND NOW LET US BEGIN THE NEW YEAR. FULL OF THINGS THAT HAVE NEVER BEEN___”
