On 5 February 2014, Vivian Hsu quietly registered her marriage with her fiance, Sean Lee in Singapore. According to Hong Kong actor Simon Yam, who was also present at her wedding ceremony, revealed that it was only a small party and everyone was happy for her.
It is understood that only the immediate families and close relatives attended the wedding. The whole ceremony took place for 30 minutes where the couple exchanged vows and signed the wedding certificates. Vivian reportedly had a 5-carat diamond ring on her finger.
The ceremony became very emotional after Vivian’s mum broke down in tears, and subsequently, Vivian also cried along with her.
After the ceremony, the couple hosted a meal for the guests and followed by a party.
Following her hush-hush engagement and wedding, many fans have suspected if Vivian is pregnant and hence opted for a low-key wedding. Vivian responded the rumours and said, “I am really not [pregnant].”
Vivian’s former boyfriend, Vanness Wu, who coincidentally also registered his marriage in Singapore in August, sent his blessings to her.
“I am happy she found her happiness,” said Vanness.
