Will Smith and his son, Jaden Smith were in Taiwan recently to promote their latest movie, After Earth. At the press conference, the hollywood star expressed his admiration for the Taiwanese famed director, Ang Lee and hoped to work with him one day.
Will said, “We had a few projects that we were both slipping around at different time. I love the works of Ang Lee and tell him that I am getting old!”
“Director Lee, I am here and have to come to your hometown, looking for you. I am ready and I have been working out and I have been eating right. I am ready to work when you are ready to work.”
Ang Lee returned to Taiwan on 6 May 2013 morning and intends to stay at his hometown till mother’s day. Upon reaching the airport, he was immediately told about Will’s intention to work with him.
Ang Lee said that Will was a friendly guy and they had explored on a collaboration before, but the theme of the film was not compatible then. Ang Lee said that he would certainty work with him should there be a suitable script.
