Wong Cho Lam confirms wedding will take place on Valentine’s Day

At the premiere of Rise of the Legend <黃飛鴻之英雄有夢>, Wong Cho Lam confirmed that he will tie the knot with Leanne Li on next year’s Valentine’s Day, 14 February 2014.

The couple will first hold their wedding ceremony at a church, and then hold a 60-table banquet at the Disneyland. Cho Lam said, “I made the wedding arrangements with Leanne in mind. As long as she feels happy and romantic, I will do anything.”

Asked if the wedding will burnt a hole in his pocket, Cho Lam said, “Money is not important, as long as the other half is happy, and the guests have a good time.”

Rumours have been circling that Cho Lam had met Leanne’s parents in July and successfully asked her parents for her hand in marriage. Netizens suspected that the live wedding proposal at the TVB Anniversary was to boost the TV ratings.

Cho Lam responded that although he and Leanne had consensus to tie the knot, but he had not made an official proposal to her prior to this.

“I swear that before this, I did not propose to her. That was really my first time,” said Cho Lam.
