After attending the Met Ball in New York City, Zhang Ziyi arrived in Hong Kong yesterday.
As her visit was very sudden and she was not there for work, suspicions began to arise if Ziyi was in Hong Kong to register her marriage.
Ziyi and Wang Feng secretly filed a notice of intended marriage in Hong Kong on 29 March. Under the Hong Kong marriage laws, the couple has to complete their wedding registration within 3 months from the filing date.
When Ziyi spotted reporters at the airport, she immediately asked them, “Who are you waiting for?”
Asked if she was getting married soon, Ziyi smiled and said, “Can we don’t talk about this?”
