Last month, Andy Lau’s wife Carol Chu reportedly visited a well-known obstetrician in Central, Hong Kong for her pregnancy checkup. Rumours are also rife that the heavenly king is expecting a baby boy this time.
Although Andy had denied his wife’s second pregnancy, tabloids have reported again that 47-year-old Carol is four months pregnant.
After successfully conceived their first daughter, the couple is said to desire for a baby boy and had been visiting a Chinese physician to seek help. However, the 52-year-old Andy did not expect his wife to get pregnant so soon and had arranged for a line-up of concert tours.
For fear that his wife will be exhausted travelling with him, Andy only allows her to attend his concert in Beijing. During her visit to Beijing, Carol was spotted with a bulging stomach and appeared to have put on weight.
Andy has arranged for Carol’s younger sister to fly to Hong Kong and takes care of her when he is not around. He has also employed a dietician to design nutritious meals for the pregnant Carol. In order to protect the safety of Carol, Andy reportedly did not acknowledge on her pregnancy.
