Yesterday, Angela Tong (湯盈盈) and Chin Kar Lok (錢嘉樂) held a 55-table wedding banquet at the InterContinental Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong. The day before, they had their wedding solemnisation at the Panda gallery at the Ocean Park.
It was a star-studded evening which was attended by many celebrities, including Eric Tsang (曾志偉), Aaron Kwok (郭富城), Michael Miu (苗僑偉), Jacky Cheung (張學友), Bobby Au Yeung (歐陽震華), Joe Ma (馬德鐘), Koo Ming Wah (古明華), Liza Wang (汪明荃), Yuan Bao (元彪), Sammo Hung (洪金寶), Director Wong Jing (王晶), Grasshoppers (草蜢) and many more.
Dressed in a sexily low cut wedding gown, Angela revealed her deep cleavage. As Angela’s cup size increases after she is pregnant, Kar Lok jokingly said, “It will be good if I can buy a big apartment like this. The living room and the bedroom are so big.”
The bridal couple marched in with Ekin Cheng (鄭伊健) dedicating the song, The Same Second to the couple. The emcees for the evening were King Kong (金剛) and Kitty Yuen (小儀).
Acting as the wedding witness, Eric Tsang asked Kar Lok to make a promise in front of the guests not to cheat on her. Angela jokingly said, “You have to speak out louder!”
Jacky Chan (成龍) made a surprised appearance and even recorded a congratulatory clip to the couple. In his clip, Jacky said humorously, “I will not ask him (Kar Lok) to party again.”
Jacky Cheung also dedicated two ballads Your name, my surname and I love you a little more everyday to the couple. During the toasting time on stage, the teary Angela professed her love to Kar Lok and said emotionally, “I have waited so long for this day to come. I like Kar Lok very much!”
The wedding highlight was the revealing of the baby gender! Previously, the couple mentioned that the chocolate flavoured cake represented a boy and a strawberry flavoured cake represented a girl. After much anticipation, the couple cut a strawberry cake, revealing that they are going to have a baby girl!
