Taiwanese singer-actress, Annie Yi remarried in Phuket last month. The 46-year-old star has tied the knot with Chinese actor, Qin Hao who is 10 years younger than her.
Yesterday, the couple held their wedding banquet in Beijing and invited many celebrity friends such as Gao Yuanyuan and Joe Chen.
Yuanyuan attended the banquet alone as Mark Chao is still in Taiwan. Joe congratulated the couple and wished them the best in their marriage. Both declined to reveal their wedding gifts to the newly wed couple.
Qin Hao thanked the media and said, “We will be very blissful. Today is like a gathering. I feel that we need to share our important moment with our friends. This is not just a wedding, but also a party.”
Annie also revealed that they had co-planned the wedding together. She said, “He is charge of external affairs, and I am in charge of internal affairs. I look after the menu, wine and the decorations, whereas he takes charge of the guests list, hosting the guests and the bill.”
Qin Hao said that they will next host a simple dinner for their relatives back at his hometown, Shenyang.
“We will not be so exhausting in preparing that. Will resume our work and also it’s time to beef up our health.”
Qin Hao then patted on Annie’s tummy. The shy bride smiled sweetly and leaned towards Qin Hao.
Annie said that she will stop her work after April as family will be her priority after marriage. “My dream is to get married since young. Everyone knows that love is everything to me. I feel that this is the life I always wanted.”
Annie has been open about sharing her re-marriage and this has drawn criticisms from netizens who remarked that she should keep her remarriage “low-key” and she should consider the feelings of her ex-husband Harlem Yu and their son Harrison Yu.
