Many were shocked that TVB did not renew contract with veteran actor, Bobby Au-yeung.
According to Bobby’s manager, TVB’s senior executive Virginia Lok told her that they “would look for Bobby only if there is any suitable work.”
However, Lok responded that it could be a linguistic misunderstanding and it was not her intention not to renew Bobby’s contract.
Bobby has since defended his manager and said that he trusted her completely.
“There is no misunderstanding. I only wish to seek justice. After talking out, everyone has a better understanding. It’s better to have more voices than one voice. If this is considered a misunderstanding, then everyone wants to know what’s the meaning.”
Bobby said that he had left the contract renewal negotiations to his manager, and also hopes to resolve the misunderstanding soon.
