Chilam Cheung’s popularity shot up after starring in TVB hit series, Triumph in the Skies 2 <衝上雲霄II> as the dashing pilot, Captain Cool. His filming schedule is packed in the first half of this year, and he will also hold his three concerts in Hong Kong later of the year.
Recently, Chilam reportedly suffers from anxiety disorder while preparing for his concerts.
An insider said, “Chilam did not rest well because he wanted his concerts to run smoothly. He had sent text messages to the working crew at 3 am in the morning, asking to change certain segments. He has always been a vibrant person, but now he does not even utter a word when he returns home and will plan his concert at a corner.”
To build up his stamina, Chilam has also undergone vigorous exercises regularly. He also personally directed his music video and invited his friends, Christine Ng and Remus Choy to guest star in his MV, and even designs his concert posters.
Recently, Chilam was spotted test-driving a Ferrari sports car with his agent. He appeared to be very interested in the car, and kept bombarding his agent with many questions about the car.
According to a source, Chilam has earlier gathered information about the latest car models. When he knew that Ferrari 458 Speciale would arrive in Hong Kong, he immediately called his agent to test-drive the HK$4.5 million car.
“After test driving the car, Chilam loved the car so much that he bought it right away. The car is so expensive, and just by spray painting the two sides of the car cost HK$200,000, but he likes Batman so he will wait for the black model to arrive,” said the insider.
Knowing that her husband is overly stress, Anita Yuen reportedly allowed her husband to splurge millions just to de-stress himself.
