Through her recording label Warner Music Hong Kong Ltd, Ella Koon announced that she had just got married!
Dating for six years, Ella and her Eurasian doctor boyfriend, Domingo tied the knot yesterday (2 February) in Hong Kong. The couple had a traditional tea ceremony, and registered for marriage under the presence of a lawyer.
The couple also held a private banquet and only invited a few relatives and friends to the wedding. No friends and reporters from the entertainment circle were invited.
Ella thanked the media for their blessings and said, “I know that there are many reporter friends trying to get news about my wedding. However, to respect the wishes from our parents, the wedding was kept low-key and hence, we did not invite any reporter friends. I hope to seek your understanding.”
Ella also expressed thanks to her husband for his care all these years. Ella’s husband, Domingo stood by her in times of adversity. Diagnosed with Bell’s Palsy last year, Domingo encouraged her and took care of her. As she suffered from a temporary facial paralysis, Domingo also fed her during meals.
The couple has left for their honeymoon, and Ella’s agency declined to reveal their honeymoon destination.
