After scandalous news on Fala Chen (陳法拉) flirtatious behaviour with co-star, Chilam Cheung (張智霖), more negative news continue to hit Fala. The Triumph in the Skies 2 star was accused of acting like a diva and appeared late during filming in France.

Recently, a netizen claimed to be a TVB makeup artist’s friend wrote on Weibo that a ‘Miss C’ was always late reporting to work. While the crew were waiting for her to do her makeup at 5.30 am in the morning, she would turn up only 2 hours later.

“Are you here to work or holiday? Don’t you know what is punctuality,” wrote the netizen.

The posting generated online discussions with many joined in to speculate who ‘Miss C’ was. As among the cast who had travelled to France for filming, Fala is the only actress whose surname is initial ‘C’ and hence, all fingers pointed at her.

One netizen even sarcastically remarked that since Fala had a wealthy boyfriend, she could not be bothered about the job anymore.

Fala’s respond

During a tele-interview, Fala denied causing delay in the filming progress. Said Fala, “I was only late for once or twice and each time was only 10 minutes late. It did not affect the progress of the filming”.

Explaining that a miscommunication between crew occurred, Fala said, “The misunderstanding was due to the miscommunication between the crew and it had all been resolved. Everyone was tired during the trip but the crew got along very well. There was team spirit but the unhappiest thing was the scandalous reports by the tabloids”.

Slamming post deleted

Triumph in the Skies 2 producer Au Koon-ying (歐冠英) defended Fala and said that it was a misunderstanding.

“The makeup artist said that she did not write that post on Weibo. She only mentioned it to a friend and realised that it was only a misunderstand. She had clarified to Fala and her friend had deleted the post already”.
