23-year-old Grace Chan was rumoured to be dating 45-year-old TVB diamond bachelor, Kevin Cheng for two months. Grace was also photographed to be visiting Kevin’s apartment.
Kevin has since clarified that Grace had visited his house to borrow DVDs, but also added that, “Everything has to start off as friends”.
Attending an event today, Grace stressed that she and Kevin were only friends. When being told that Kevin had said that age gap would not affect a relationship, Grace also agreed.
“I also think it doesn’t matter. There are many living examples that prove that a relationship is sustainable even if both parties have a huge age gap. (Did Kevin chase you?) We are really just friends!”
Asked if she felt awkward meeting Kevin, Grace said, “We still have to film together. We did talk about it and laughed it off.”
When being told about Kevin’s past relationships, Grace did not think that Kevin is a flirtatious guy, and believed that, “One will change.”
“Everyone has their history, but it will not affect him now. One will change!”
Grace also sang praises of Kevin, saying that he has good working attitude and is nice to the crew and colleagues. Grace also said that Kevin would discuss work with her if she met any problems during filming.
Asked if they had chance to develop further, Grace said, “We will be friends first.”
