39-year-old Taiwanese model-actress, Lin Chi-ling was rumoured to undergo oocyte cryopreservation, in which a woman’s eggs are extracted, frozen and stored.
Taiwanese media reported that Chi-ling’s mother was worried that Chi-ling might find it hard to conceive in future due to her age. Hence, Chi-ling was said to seek the help of a renowned obstetrician, Dr Wu Mingyi to undergo the egg freezing process.
While attending an event recently, Chi-ling denied the rumours and said that she did not even know the doctor. However, she might consider this fertility preservation method in future.
Chi-ling cited that due to her hectic work schedule, she has no time for dating and her marriage plan is being delayed time after time. As she would love to have her own children one day, she would not rule out freezing her eggs in future.
Chi-ling was rumoured with Jerry Yan and Taiwanese businessman, Qiu Shi Kai, but till now she still remains single. She hopes to first find her significant half before planning for a baby.
She also joked that the media seem to be more concern about her marriage than her mother.
