Aimee Chan turned down a role in TVB series, Cold Mountain, Hidden Dragon <寒山潛龍> last year after learning that she was pregnant. In last December, Aimee gave birth to her first son with Moses Chan and since then has not returned to filming for almost a year.

Recently, TVB has plans to film an upcoming series Cheung Po Tsai <張保仔>, a time-travelling drama, using the original cast from Slow Boat Home <情越海岸線>. As Aimee was the lead actress of Slow Boat Home, she was approached by TVB to participate in Cheung Po Tsai.

Aimee initially is moved to star in the series, but her husband forbids her to return to filming. As their baby is only 8 months old, Moses reportedly prefers Aimee to spend more time taking care of their son. As they are financially sound, Moses feels that there is no need for Aimee to resume her work yet.

Since Moses objected to her filming, Aimee has turned down the role in Cheung Po Tsai, citing reasons that she had not recovered from her hand injury, and wished to celebrate her baby’s first year birthday and Christmas together. In order to appease his wife, Moses went shopping with her during his rest day.

The family was seen shopping for babies’ supplies and toys at a mall in Tsim Sha Tsui recently. The couple was cautious about revealing their son to public, and used a pram hood to cover his face.

Not sure if Aimee was still sour that she was banned from filming, she was spotted shopping with a black face most of the time. The only time she smiled was when she was playing with her baby.
