The highly anticipated 2012 TVB Anniversary Awards is scheduled in December. The competition for the TV King title has already heated up.
Raymond Lam (林峯) is said to be a hot favourite for this year 2012 TV King title. His new drama, “Highs and Lows” has achieved over 30 points of ratings after broadcasting for only a week. Raymond’s character as a police officer is also very well-liked by audiences, giving him an edge over his competitors.
As Raymond is filming for a mainland drama in December, he may not be in time to attend the awards ceremony. There were precedents that artists who attended the awards ceremony were likely to win the awards.
When asked if he was worried that it would affect his chances, Raymond replied, “If I won any awards, I will of course hope to personally receive the awards.”

Raymond will be collaborating with his ex-partner, Michelle Ye (葉璇) in the mainland drama, “Legend of The Purple Hairpin” . As Michelle is the producer of this drama, Raymond gives a discounted fee of 200,000 yuan per episode. Hence, Raymond will pocket 6 million yuan after the filming!
