Sammi Cheng and Andy Hui were rumoured to have married secretly in 2013, but the couple did not confirm on their marriage.
Recently, Hong Kong musician Clarence Hui posted a photo of himself with the couple and confirmed their married status.
In his Weibo, Clarence wrote, “You were both outstanding newcomers when I first met you guys. So many years, I have witnessed how you two have worked hard together, and your ups and downs in relationship, and how you guys have shone. Today, Sammi personally told me, ‘You can call me Mrs Hui now’. I am so happy for you two. Wishing you two the best. Compared to the two Mr Hui, at least one is more fortunate, and his name is Andy. I wish Andy Hui success in his concert!”
Sammi and Andy experienced ups and downs in their relationship. The pair started dating in 1991, and suddenly broke up in 2004. After seven years, Sammi and Andy got back together in 2011. The couple reportedly has mutual consensus to enjoy their couple time together first and will consider adopting a child in future.
