Taiwanese actress Vivian Hsu and CEO of Singapore based marine logistics group, Marco Polo Marine were wed before an intimate gathering of about 100 friends and relatives overlooking the picturesque ocean view of The Edge Bali Villa on Sunday (29 June 2014).

The lovely bride wore a Vera Wang’s white lace wedding dress with a pair of  Sergio Rossi Bridal Collection blue rhinestone crystal high heels. What was most glittering is the big piece of diamond necklace, which was specially ordered for her by her in-laws.

Vivian’s father could not attend the wedding due to health reason. Vivian’s mother gave a touching speech on stage.

“Thank god for the perfect marriage and let Sean walk into Vivian’s life, although mum could not bear to part with you. Vivian works very hard for her past 20 years of career. She also takes care of her family well. Vivian, it was hard on you,” said Vivian’s mother.

Vivian was highly emotional after hearing her mother’s words. The 39-year-old said, “Thank you mum for giving me everything and making me a better person, so that I can meet Sean. You have seen me grown. No matter how hard is the environment, you gritted your teeth to bring up the three of us.”

Vivian’s husband, Sean also vowed to make Vivian a happy wife forever. Promising his mother-in-law, Sean said, “Our heart will always be with you. I promise to make Vivian happy forever. We will grow old together and be happy forever. Mum, please be rest assured.”

Signifying their new life together, Sean also performed a song Till I met you, which was composed by him and lyrics written by Vivian. He sang, “Till I met you, we believe, what is destiny. We will not leave and forsake each other. I only want to hold you.”

Vivian and Sean were engaged in Taipei in January this year. The couple registered their marriage in Singapore in February. Residing in Singapore after her marriage, Vivian wore a Cheongsam during a traditional tea ceremony last Thursday.

The couple will be holding a 55-table wedding banquet in Taipei on 23 July 2014.
