Ella Chen’s husband, Alvin Lai recently exposed that he was subject to “domestic violence”. So, what has Ella done to him?
On his Facebook, Alvin uploaded an alarming photo of his naked back which was entirely covered with bruises. He wrote, “I was feeling giddy and nauseous, and was not able to sleep. It turned out that my blood circulation was blocked! Thanks to my wife’s ‘domestic violence’ gua sha. The circulation is smooth now, but the process is so painful!”
Gua sha is a traditional Chinese medical treatment in which the skin is scraped. This explains why Alvin’s back is covered with purplish red bruises after his scraping session.
Some fans have found the photo disgusting, but many have also praised the S.H.E’s member for her unique skill.
One fan wrote, “This is so scary, but most importantly, you are feeling better. Ella is a such a good wife.”
They are some who also teased Alvin for offending Ella unknowingly and she was seeking a revenge on him.
