Last Friday, Wilber Pan suffered a severe head injury while rehearsing for his concert and got a 17-cm wound on his head. He had to undergo two stitching procedures to control the bleeding.

Wilber is currently recovering well from his hospital and apologises to his fans for cancelling the concert.

Wilber wrote in his micro-blog, “The doctor said that I was lucky, strong-willed and in good physical condition so my recovery is going smoothly. I am happy to be able to share my thoughts.”

Recalling his rehearsal mishap, Wilber said, “At that moment, my mind was spinning. I told myself I had to open my eyes, if not I would not be able to wake up again. When I opened my eyes, my head was crazily in pain.”

During his stay in hospital, Wilber also dared not fall asleep as he was scared that he would not be able to see his parents again, if he failed to wake up.

Currently recuperating well, Wilber gains his fighting spirit again.

“I am injured, but if you ask me if I would regret knowing that I will get hurt, I said no. I love this stage, so do not worry for me. I will be back soon. I am a warrior and a man that just returned from hell. I will be back at the Taipei Arena again. Wait for me!”
