Recently, Chinese tabloids claimed that Jackie Chan had scolded her ex-lover, Elaine Ng for being a “scumbag in the entertainment industry”. The tabloids also claimed that Jackie had given Elaine RMB 40 million to settle his love child, Etta Ng.
After reports surfaced, Elaine angrily shot down the rumours. She posted on Weibo, “There are all kinds of people in this world. What 20, 30, or 40 million. Elaine insisted to give birth to their child, and she let Etta took after her surname. After giving birth to Etta, they both resided in Shanghai. There were rumours at that point that Jackie had given a huge sum of money to “settle” Elaine and his love child.
