Taiwanese actor Chris Wang welcomed his first baby girl two days ago.
Sharing his joy on his Facebook, Chris said, “My dear Gun Gun (滾滾) [referring to his daughter’s nickname] is finally born. Both mother and daughter are safe. I am very touched and thank everyone your concern. I can finally share this long awaited joy with you.”
Chris accompanied his girlfriend throughout the delivery process and was very touched witnessing the birth of his baby. He vowed to bring “lots of happiness” to his girl and hopes that she will grow up to be optimistic and confident.
For the next few months, Chris will devote his time on his girlfriend and daughter, and has no plans to accept any new series for the time being.
Chris’s girlfriend, Yixian was initially his manager and their relationship was exposed by a magazine two years ago. Last year, he admitted that Yixian was carrying his baby for four months. The couple has yet to register for marriage.
Chris’ current manager said that the couple would register the child birth and register for their marriage at the same time. They have no plans for a wedding banquet yet, but intend to hold their baby’s first month celebration.
