The world is shocked and sad that the Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 was shot down with a missile on Thursday and that all 298 people aboard were killed. Many celebrities have expressed their grief and sorrow over the tragic crash of MH17.

Malaysian artistes, Angelica Lee and Fish Leong found the news heartbreaking as it was the second aviation tragedy that struck Malaysia, just months after MH370 vanished with 239 people aboard from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing.

“It’s too heartbreaking! I can’t accept it,” wrote Angelica on her micro-blog.

Fish Leong said, “It’s too sudden. I can’t accept it. It’s extremely painful!”

Victor Wong said, “I am flying back to Kuala Lumpur and heard such devastating news. Innocent lives are lost.”

Leehom Wang also responded on the tragedy, “Malaysian Airlines flight crashed. Regardless of any power struggle, people are innocent!”

“300 lives were taken. It’s unforgivable no matter what the reasons are. There’s no bottomline for any sort of tragedy. My heart is very heavy. Blessed Malaysia,” said Beyond’s Paul Wong.

Daniel Chan prays for the victims and said, “How could the passengers encounter such misfortune?”

Angelababy remarked, “Hope that there is no terror in heaven. Please do not hurt anymore innocent people. May the victims rest in peace.”

“Another heartbreaking news. Pray pray pray for peace, love and support,” said Linda Chung.
